Who wrote this list?

Cito API, which runs the CS2 API, wrote it. We list where other providers are the better choice, use only facts each vendor publishes (read on 3 October 2026), and say "not published" rather than guess.

1. Best self-serve CS2 API with a free key: CS2 API

Sign up, get a key, call documented REST: live scores, results, per-map player stats, team data, the world ranking and VRS, tournaments, transfers and skin prices. Free covers 500 requests a month; Pro at $59 adds real-time live data. It does not include odds.

Coverage counts from GET /cs2. Fetched from the production CS2 API on 3 Oct 2026, 19:54 UTC.

2. Best for official licensed in-play data: GRID

GRID distributes official CS2 data from tournament organisers including ESL, BLAST and CCT, pushed over WebSocket or Kafka, plus odds. It is sales-only with custom pricing, which suits operators and broadcasters more than individual developers.

3. Best for broad esports coverage: PandaScore

PandaScore covers many esports with a self-serve free tier for static and pre-match data. Historical plans start at €400 a month per game and live plans at €1,000; odds products are sold separately through sales.

4. Best for sportsbook odds feeds: Oddin.gg or Abios

Both sell esports odds to betting operators: Oddin.gg with an official data feed, Abios as part of Kambi Group. Neither publishes prices; both start with a sales conversation.

5. Best self-serve odds-only API: odds-api.io

If you only need CS2 odds, odds-api.io sells them self-serve, with paid plans from about $65 a month and WebSocket as an add-on. Its pricing page says new free keys are paused.

6. Best for your own matchmaking games: Steam Web API

Your Premier and competitive games only exist in Steam. GetNextMatchSharingCode returns your share codes one at a time with your game authentication code; stats then come from the replay demo. It has no professional match data.
